The mouths on those bass are enormous – no wonder they inhale the lures as it must create a total vacuum when they attack something. I was going to try and get bass for my pond but they are a non-native and the Environment Agency would surely have something to sat about that… All the best for 2018

Super cold windy conditions in Florida right now, try to get over to Sebastian inlet when it warms up, hopefully the redfish bite will turn on big-time. If you're looking for some good kayak fishing spots try the mosquito lagoon just south of oak hill, the launch is just off the road to the kennedy space center. If you plan on doing some intercoastal kayak fishing I have a boat load of tips!

Hi Andy, with that new collection of lures you should do a challenge for barramundi to see if they would eat the same as large mouth bass. Just a suggestion.

Try some urban pond fishing with creature baits, chatterbaits, and spinnerbaits. I catch a lot of big bass on those baits.

You can also fish the texas rig a lot slower if you're able. I live in Australia now but do miss a good old Largemouth or Smallmouth bass session.
