  1. Once again — even if you missed the live stream, you are still welcome to comment below your suggestions for 2018 fishing trips! Just keep in mind the following: (1) within the United States of America (we don't have the budget for international trips yet); (2) name location (at least city and state, preferentially watershed as well) and target Species!!! Thank you very much to all those who participated in the Google Hangouts Chat and all those who donated during the length of the event! Tight lines and FISH ON!

  2. when i look back at what you did this past year, the vids that resonate are the ones where you throw on the waders, jump in a creek and simply head up or downstream. like: "A GREAT FIND!!! 11 Species in ONE DAY at a NEW CREEK! (Give-Away Included) (Media, PA)"

  3. I would definitely recommend the Ozark National Waterways, in Missouri and the surrounding areas which the waterways flow through. I misinterpreted a red-spot chub (indigenous to the waterways) for a common carp! That tells you much about my assessment skills.. haha. The more you know!

  4. Freshwater : tench we have some in America,u have to go to Europe for barbel,Rudd, roach, brim, unless u find a place in America that has em , grayling, tiger trout, steelhead trout, musky, sauger, saugeye,

  5. A place in northern WV called smoke hole road a must visit crystal clear streams everything from trout to hand sized bluegills be near the area of Elkins but if u can find smoke hole caverns u'll find smoke hole road I recommend u bring a fly rod few catch and release areas on that road

  6. Castlerock Flowage in juneau county Wisconsin for a future reference… There’s Bigmouth Buffalo, bowfin, longnose gar, lake sturgeon, foot long bluegill, flathead cats, channel cats, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, musky, pike, white bass, walleye, and tons and tons of drum. It’s a tourist/yuppy attraction, and I don’t like to go when people are shooting carp with bows(when the buffalo carp are extremely active and spawning)… Otherwise, it is a fisherman’s paradise for sure.

  7. Leo, I really think you need to come to the Pacific Northwest. In particular, The Portland area Columbia River and Oregon Coast. I really believe it would be a great opportunity to catch new species. Yes, we have bass and bluegill like every other state, but if you can get hooked up on Oversize Sturgeon (8 or 9 footer), or even a nice sized Chinook Salmon, That will look really awesome in your record book. I am sure you have a viewer base that could help you out. With no boat, there are still some bank fishing opportunities, but for Salmon and Sturgeon, it is harder to catch (but not impossible).
I live in the Willamette Valley here in Oregon, and there are fishing opportunities all around. My favorite here is lake fishing for Kokanee. From here in The valley, I am an hour and 1/2 away from the Columbia, from the mountain lakes, and from the coast.
As far as Coastal waters, there are opportunities all over the coast for different species that you have never caught. Surf fishing here provides a good catch of Redtail and Silver Perch. Fishing off the jetties can produce some different rock fish with a possible ling cod or Greenling. I would have to say that compared to the Florida trip, there are not as many different species, but they are different.

  8. Hey leo! Here's a video suggestion. It might sound dumb, but I think it would be fun! Here it is. Record a WHOLE fishing trip (1 day) UNEDITED! If you catch fish or not I will still watch it, and i'm pretty sure other people would too! Tight lines!
