AS ALWAYS RICHARD VERY GREAT VIDEO I HAVE ONE QUESTION AS I AM FAIRLY NEW TO YOUR CHANNEL AND HAVE BACK WATCHED ALOT OF YOUR VIDEOS WHAT IS THE ELMO THING IS HE A REAL PERSON? HAS HE BEEN IN ANY OF YOUR VIDEOS?
Mr Gene, having issues finding 1/32 oz bullet weights and plain jigs. Any suggestions? I'm local in north Alabama and have been fishing wheeler and Guntersville for couple of years! Please keep the videos coming. Great info! Roll Tide brother!!!!
Those are big boys here in my home town rear to catch monsters but I have got a few 14s outta my local lake lots of fun. Have up trout fishing because crappie fishing are funnier and tastier. Great video
Love your videos Richard. I hope to run in to you one day on Lake Guntersville. I'm out hunting slabs on guntersville every weekend. I was wondering what knots do you use on this setup? Ready for some more crappie videos!!!!
I've caught 17 inchers here in California. But most are about 14 inches. Problem is, too damn many people have found out how good Crappies taste. And leave some of the big ones behind for the future, most folks don't at Clear Lake.
I worked that same bridge and riprap last year in my kayak if it's where I think it is. Pretty place and pulled one decent spot out of the bridge posts. Crappie aint my thing, but I might give it a go one time. Nice fish.
Well Mr. Gene looks like another great video I love seeing the family out there with you on your videos… No doubt those were two monsters slabs.. hope you're as successful this year as you were last year!!???
GOLLY BUMMM !! Sorry Im late commenting ,Gene !! Thanks for the rigging tips and man, were those 2 nice crappies you turned back in nair ,ELMO !!! This is "Hog Killin " weather we having over heuhh in Georgia, right now!! But I gotta get back to fishing just soon as possible !! Great Video !!
Mr. Richard, My son is 14 yrs old and he is my favorite crappie fishing buddy. We have been crappie fishing Guntersville Lake and the Tennessee River since he was 9. We really enjoy watching your videos for the tips and laughs. 2 Questions for you. Question 1: We fish crappie from the bank at night and do very well. Can you recommend a good lighted bobber. The Night Bobbys we use ruin our line ( the ones that look like they should be hanging from a Christmas tree instead of floating on a slightly rippling body of water in a secluded secret spot on Guntersville Lake), and I cannot see the little green glow sticks that go on a slip bobber.. Question 2: Where can I buy the Abu Garcia Reels and the Eagle Claw rods. Looked in Huntsville and cannot find them. Thanks again for you clean, Informational, and hilarious videos that my son and I can spend time together watching. Look forward to watching many more.
Great as always Mr. Machine! It was an additional bonus to meet your family so to speak. Keep them there vids coming brother! m/ < (suppose to be a fist bump, don't know how to do one lol)
Hi Richard, what is the best jig weight to use in waters where the fish usually congregate around 7-10 ft early Spring?
