I see you punch a lot of holes. Did you know with the marcum LX7 you can put water on the ice and put your ducer down and it will find the bottom and still locate fish! I just found this out and it worked awesome.
Nice job…love the passion and excitement you have and the fact that you "hunt them down" is awesome. With the Auger issue I'd suggest getting an ION electric, no gas to worry about, just pull the trigger and drill…plus like myself you are an on the go portable guy and the ION is so light. Keep up the good work!
