  1. I'm not a master fisherman, but I am a carpenter. New wood will leach out moisture and scent, pine for instance can give off a turpentine smell… I'd bet the fish don't care for that.

  2. excellent video as always. It was great to be able to see where you were casting to at different times. it helps to be able to see the Lord in the water and where it's casted to.

  3. I get the idea of picking corners but wouldn't it be better to just throw along the side of the dock straight down and work the whole wall at once?

I think it would keep your bait in the strike zone longer and give a better chance of a bite if you just worked the shade line as a whole.

  4. Man, I've struggled skipping docks for the last couple of years. Heard you mention that the Z man Pop shad skips a mile. Bought a pack this morning and was skipping the doo-doo out of it by the afternoon! Thanks for the tip and ALL your great videos. I've learned tons.

  5. Hey Fluke! Been a long time watcher of your videos! Not sure if you read the copious amount of comments you receive but I would love to see a video one whether you think the color of bait or type of bait makes a bigger differece. For example if I am fishing a watermelon trick worm and not getting bit, should I switch to a junebug or pumkin color worm – or try throwing a spinner bait or crank bait? I am asking in the context of a kayak fisherman who only takes two rods out with him so I dont carry a bunch of setups with me on the water and retying is not infrequent. Keep up the cool content!

  6. first thing I love the channel have only been fishing a few years learned a whole lot from you!!! I have 4or5 channels and subbed you on all anyway main question the last for times I have been to this spot there is a 8to10 pounder it's an area that alot of people fish what can I do to improve my chance of catching it it would definitely be my PB any help would be greatly appreciated thanks keep the vids coming

  7. I fish a lot of spinnerbaits, Texas rigs, jigs, and weightless senkos. Buying two rods this week Flukemaster. I need to know what power and action I need to get for the two rods?

  8. Gene vision is based on light reflected of an object to your eye. white reflects all colors of light, black very little. if you put white up next to black then slowly raise light levels, the white shows up first. why does everyone fish black in low light or poor water clarity when white shows up better. I know what experience tells you but are anglers ignoring the true facts?
