  1. biggest mistake i see is people keep all the BIG fish, these are our breeders… the lake will only produce runts for years to come.. keep the mid size eaters, and only what you can feed your family in one night…once you fish a lake out, it will no longer produce any fish unless it is stocked.

  2. The micro glow rippin rap is by far my most favourite low light or dark crappie bait. Little 4 to 9 inch rips and play cat and mouse . Crappie hate when what they're interested in starts moving away. Always use glow lures at night lol I've learned from 4 years if chasing crappie in winter that even during the day charge your baits . Whatever I use I always try to be under or to one inch long baits . 2 lb mono to 2 lb flouro and keep a minnow profile best as possible. Cool video

  3. A inch and a half has been my go to size for crappie. The pink and chartreuse has been the color of choice, still is as of now, here in Upstate NY the crappie have moved into the structured cover area, about 15-20 ft is where we are getting them. Filled a 5 gallon pail on Saturday and a 5 gallon pail yesterday.
