  1. Thanks for sharing. Ive got several doozies, I guess the classic of all time is not putting the plug in Striper fishing Clarks Hill at night. Crossing the Dam, fish were busting herring all over the place. Launched, hauled ass to the dam and on the third fish stepped of the front deck into three inches of water. Hit the bilge and drove slowly to siphon water back out enough to get back to shore. It was only 130 feet deep and that was the third time I did it. Guess everything is best done in three's.

  2. 53 dislikes.. wtfreak is wrong with people? lol. ?‍♂️. I forgot to take the straps off once.. I was fishing a tournament, worked the night before & got 3 hours sleeps. Still placed & have a funny story.

  3. I'm laughing hysterically. ? You look better learning on cheap shit off camera, then trying too hard with brand new shit that just screams "look at me, look at me" on camera, moreso than your actual ability.

    It's no surprise you've only got 8k subscribers. ?

  4. First day launching my brand new (to me) 1982 Aluminum boat I almost sank it. Didn't even leave the launch. 4+ inches of water in the boat. This is the day I learned that boats have plugs.

  5. I forgot the swivel tounge pin , came down the driveway and hit the brakes the whole boat kept coming and hit the back of the truck, trolling motor skeg went right through the back door, and a big dent

  6. I've made most of these mistakes myself. The only one I didn't hear mentioned was forgetting to tilt the engine up and dragging the skeg fin all the way up the boat ramp when taking it out of the water.

  7. One thats happened to a friend of mine almost every year since he's owned his ranger, he manages to leave the transom saver somewhere on the ramp instead of putting it in the boat or his truck! I die laughing every single time he texts me about it.

  8. Buddy put the hitch on the ball, but didn't close the coupling latch. Pulled away from his house, towed just fine. First stop, nose of boat went through camper shell window, (safety plate glass), $285 redo plus custom V notch in tailgate!

  9. Haha man this just brought back some cringeworthy memories. Last year was my first year as a boater so I made every one of these mistakes. You're exactly right though, if you accept the fact that you're gonna make some mistakes it will relieve a lot of anxiety

  10. Haha i left my trolling motor down as well! Ran all the way across the lake with the outboard before i noticed, went to use the trolling motor again, noticed and the prop was gone lol

  11. I was so excited had a brand new bass boat I put it in the water and and forgot to put the plug in my wife said we got water coming in the bottom boat I felt so embarrassed what had to pull the boat out let the water drain on a brand new carpet for only having a drain plug three quarters of an inch the water came in awful fast we finally got fishing and we got in a bunch of brim
