Greetings and a happy new year to you and your family. I love all your recordings, doing a great job to bring the kids into the sport , even though I have been fishing for over 60 yrs., i would like to know the difference between centre pin reels and fly reels.
As a kid John Wilson was the guy on TV fishing rivers with his center pin reel. Graeme has the same great enthusiasm and love for fishing and now I want a center pin reel / rod set up !! Just out of interest what was the line strength you was using ?
a few weeks ago I was fishing about 2 foot away from the bank with maggots and Sweet Corn I'm 13 and I was fishing for 12 hours a was catching about a fish every 2 minutes and 2 big bream
why does it really matter what rod and reel you use. both do the job they're supposed to. Why buy expensive carp rods when a kids rod will do the same. I'm more bothered about the breaking strain of the line and using a decent float.
Awesome Fishing Vlog again Graeme keep them coming. I'm a noob when it comes to the latest tackle, but that rod your using do you think it be OK for shore spinning/lure fishing off the rocks? And oh you need to invest in a wireless mic setup cuz when u put that lead I fear your camera will go over and break.

hows the madfish tackle going, any more vids in pipeline using it? could you use the lrf for a spot of feeder fishing with that light tip?

that reel looks pretty nice, bit noisy as you say but I might have a look.
Love the ratchet noise of a centerpin, , I love mine , had Tench , carp , chub , Cruican carp .
I hate all the BS around rods. it's time there was a standard for all new rods.

thats a good looking reel, strong sounding ratchet means only using the alarm on the quiet rod, good looking setup though.
