  1. I just can’t understand how people find these places to fish, all my life I try to find places like this to have a good time and get some salmon. I myself can’t just pick up and drive my boat 5 hours away and go on water not knowing what the hell will hit me, or maybe just get skunk with no fish, I’m always trying to learn but idk I guess you have to meet the right person, no one wants to tell you what city or kind were to go fish, Bc everyone thinks the OWN the lake, and they don’t want ppl fishing there sport, they don’t have to say there dam exact sport, but it’s good sports when ppl help, if your a good fisher men then you will always find a good new spot to fish right? obviously I’m not such a great fisher men, but ya it’s kinda messed up, anyways This right here is one of my most favorite videos I watched, I just love the look of it, jigging deep water salmon, no big waves, it’s really a great video.

  2. Are you running braid straight to your snap hook? I can't tell if you're using a few feet of fluoro/mono for a lead, or just using braid. Jigging for deep lakers is my second favorite type of fishing… after trolling for shallow lakers!

  3. Hey there! I've done a lot of saltwater fishing and a lot of freshwater bass fishing but never fished for trout. Crazy I know. Anyway I'm going to be going to a lake next week that has landlocked salmon and brook trout in it. The lake is about 50-60 feet deep. Do you think jigging will work on brook trout? I'm sure they'll be deep because the water is warm now.

  4. Just a headed up bro from a lefty, right handed people use left hand retrieve reels and lefties use right hand so you are using the correct reel for your hand dominance, nice fish man

  5. Do you have to cut the barbs off of your hooks when you fish lake trout? I've always gone up in North Western Wyoming and we always had to cut the barbs off and we always noticed we would lose more fish than normal

  6. Nice video!  I'm with you on the left handed baitcasters.  I've switched all but two of my baitcasters to LH.  Only a matter of time until I replace the last two.  I'm a Lund fan, as well.  I have a '93 ProV Tournament 1775 with a 70 HP Yamaha tiller.  But, I'm a little wary of taking it too far off shore on Superior or Michigan.   I'm heading to Milwaukee  to fish the harbor in the next week or two.  I'm going to have to try vertical jigging spoons, after watching your video.  What model and make of camera do you use?
