I do believe they can't release the water unless its a maximum of 10 degrees warmer than the lake's water temp.

Yeah, man I don't like spinning reels either. They twist the line like crazy. Okuma used to have a good round baitcaster called the Akena, but they quit selling it.

Wait! Just looked at their Web site. They have a Metaloid reel that for all intents and purposes looks like the old reel. The old reel was grey. This one is black. They're billing it as a musky/striper reel. It's so funny they leave us catmen out, lol.

I have never done any surf fishing. I like the way the Kiwis do Kontiki fishing from the shore. It's like a very long trotline.

Never had any luck with fishbites in fresh water but in the surf I slay them on the shrimp flavor.
