My wife asked me one time why I had a spark plug on a paperclip in my tacklebox and I told her it kept my motor going! 🙂
great…while you add to the trash killing the water. here is the best tip..make your own sinkers out of quick dry cement and egg cartons!!! the cement turns back into sand and dirt and you can easily attach it to biodegradable wire which looks and has same strength as a paper clip and saves the environment and fish!!!! cost…5 lb bag of quick cement..2.99, cost of 25 ft wire….4-6.00. how many makes?….100-500 sinkers and wire clips!!! Tell your buddy Guage he isnt doing the environment any good.
been using spark plugs in south africa from the beggining of time , its no new idea, also use stones , just stick on a small U ring using some epoxy glue , let dry and ur ready to go
I like using sand bags I buy them in east oakland for 50 cents a pop ( which ia expensive compared to 35 cents at half moon bay) you control the amount of weight They are soft and dont snag as easily They get heavier when wet But they will drift in high current when surf fishing Itll get you out there but it might get pulled back to shore
