  1. I own this box but just got it recently hasnt gone through a season yet with me, is it good at keeping the rust from spreading? I see that space with bb's. My other boxes that would spread to the near spaces.

  2. Love your videos. I know you got a new Alumacraft boat a while back. Could you do a video of how you’ve got you boat set up and organized now that you’ve had it a while and fished out of it. I’m about to purchase my first boat and I’m looking for some advise and ideas of how to organize the tackle trays in my storage compartments, and everything else you need in a boat. Thank you and Go Dawgs.

  3. Gene, I started threading all my hooks on safety pins. Each size gets threaded on it's own pin. It keeps things organized, and keeps different sized hooks from getting mixed together.

  4. Flukemaster, drop a tweezers, just a small one will work, into the lower left bin and you'll save time digging out terminal tackle. That is a great system! Thanks for sharing. Brad

  5. Simple and to the point carry what you need and nothing more. A tip I learned was add a disilicia pack from a box of shoes to absorb the excess moisture.

  6. What’s up Gene?! Love the video will be making one myself. I have been fishing since kid, but only for fun. Your videos have taught me a lot! So I’m trying to improve. I have a low budget but want to grow my gear so I grab what I need for the day. I mainly do bank fishing.
My starting goal is to build 4-5 poles and reels. 1. Jigs/punch rigs 2. Spinner baits/chatter baits 3. Soft plastics 4. Hard baits and 5. Frog rig.
What I need help with is do I have the right categories lined up? If so what type of pole (hard back – soft tip etc) do I need? Reel speeds for each?

  7. Great box, but you absolutely have to use the shelf liner if you're gonna do terminal tackle. Just a brief mention, but if you don't cut and glue that foam, your stuff will be mixed up the first time you set it on end.

  8. Thanks for your commitment to share your knowledge with us. I'd never be afraid to let my kids watch your videos, because I know they're G rated. Thanks for keeping your site family friendly. Hope you did well in your Kayak tournament.

  9. Off topic…any un-easy feelings with a bigger (12ft+) kayak and a 5.5ft truck bed? I know you have the bed extender but there is still a lot hanging off the back. Any personal stories?

  10. I picked up an orginizer from walmrt..of all places in the beads section….about $5…with about 1" squares that ive been using for a couple years…same size as a large plano so it fits in with my hard baits…
