  1. It’s funny you mention a top water here recently I’ve heard guys catching them on a buzz bait with the water being in the high 40’s. Here last week I saw some shad getting busted on the surface and the back cove. The water temp was 47…. crazy stuff! For me my favorite winter lure is a jerk bait!

  2. Hey after having the titan and the hobie (I know you hated the titan) but what pedal style was more comfortable? Or easier? Instant reverse better then the hassle of the pull cord? Etc.

  3. Red eye shad is always good, also like the rat l trap. Always done really well with spinnerbait colrado/willow in white and blue, 3/8 ounce on a slooooow retrieve. Black and blue 3/8 ounce jig, with crawdad, or blue and black trailer, works very good all year round for me. Grape with pink curly tail worm, on a Texas rig, another fave. Shad rap , always close by.
