A man who never makes mistakes generally doesn't accomplish much in life. Mine gets wet al the time, with saltwater, no less ! But never with the side cover open..so far. Toss it in a bowl of dry rice. It'll be fine, hopefully.

Right of passage brother. Welcome to YouTube fishing. Blew out my phone and the gopro all in one shot. Slipped, fell in the water, the end. Both ended up working(sort of) after about a week in rice. Good luck with yours.

OH man, I hope it dries out and is fine. You can put it in rice for a few days and that will help draw moisture away from it. There are also some repair videos I have noticed on youtube when I have been looking around. Good luck with it!

Use the Mexican microwave process to dry it out... leave it on your dash board in your car for a 1 hour
