  1. Jonny thanks heaps for that mate. One of the best straightforward tackle talks.

When you do fish for “normal” fish do you run a swivel on your lures? Including on lures with bibs?

  2. brooksy bro, I currently use tasline and really like it but some of your boys are using WFT strong line – how does it compare in your opinion?

  3. Get a Penn slammer in at least a 7500 size and any super heavy 8 foot rod. You don't need to spend a fortune to get out there and catch some GTs. I've seen 80 and 100lb Sharks caught on $120 reels and $80 rods. You do not need a Stella. It's really nice to have, but the Slammer will get you by.

  4. Mate, great tips and thanks for sharing. What pound leader are you running on that light tobizo PE4 setup? Sick setups. Thanks mate, really glad I came across your vids. Happy fishing!

  5. Nice to get the low down on the gear! Liked the glasses, what was the make and model? Electric fishing? They seemed to have boatloads of models but couldn't spot the ones you had cheers

  6. Thank you for your knowledge sharing. Going thru the rod thing at present got a couple Stella's on top end shimano rods. Not working out. Will look into the rods u mention. Thanks

  7. Big fan for the vids you guys do. What speeds are your reels. And how does the Zenaq Tobizo match up to the Ripper fishers. Used the Zenaq Fokeeto for spainish macks and didn't find it to be really fantastic. Wonder if the Tobizo is a big upgrade in performance.

  8. Hey Johny, lately I have been enjoying fishing with small jigs (3-10gr) spinning from the shore. I'm thinking of getting a rod with action of 20-50 gr. What length do you suggest? Always spinning with jigs from the shore which go from 7-10 cm. Is a 2,70 m rod long enough?
