I've used a double uni-knot for tying on my flouro leaders for several years now and it's been very efficient. I've never heard of or tried the "Alberto" knot, if you have used both what's your opinion between the two knots?
Out of curiosity, why not just got straight Flouro? Why go braid then use a leader? I'm not a fan of leaders, just another weak point on your line. The least amount of knots between me and the fish, the better!
Great video.. just subscribed to your channel. I hope you could help me to achieve my 1K sub by subbing back. If any YouTubers out there wants to help I will subscribe back. Thanks you!!!!!
Do you still think fluoro would make a difference in dense veg? In tules and grasses, the braid should just blend in. Scot Martin would back me up on that. That being said, I'll take your word that it applies to about every other situation. Makes sense to me.
What know is he using to tie the lure on? I also use the Alberto knot and have no issue with the connection knot, but have broken the lure off quite a bit.
Is there no benefit of making sure the wraps don't overlap on the alberto knot? I noticed he wound it back on top of itself instead of in the gaps of the first wrap.
Yep!!

Wouldn't that knot get hung up in vegetation a lot?
Is the FG knot still not a thing in the bass fishing world? I thought those guys were always years ahead of saltwater guys…..
Braid with fluoro leaders is getting people pretty worked up

I'm sure it's something I'm doing but I've had more problems with fluorocarbon breaking.

Im going to try you leader idea but a Uni to Uni knot will be a better choice and you don't have to leave long tag ends.
I been doing the same for 4 years when he says the knot is strong Justin ain’t lying

Good stuff thanks
NEVER reel your lure all the way to the tip. NEVER. What kind of "pro" is this guy? ?

Thx for your knot
Noooooo way.
If it's grass, use braid.
Fish can't distinguish it amongst all that crap. Otherwise, for open water or docks…. fluoro.
Salt Strong proved that mono is way, way more abrasion resistant than flurocarbon. Unless your in gin clear water, I'd go with mono.
Triple Surgeon's knot is far easier and faster
Did anyone else notice the spool with zero braid on it on the fish he caught off of the pontoon boat?
