  1. I'm new at this and have been told that it is best to use a single barbless hook, even on plugs when practicing catch and release. The rationale provided is that it does far less damage to the fish, is much easier to release and much safer when handling fish. Given your experience, what do you think?

  2. Got attacked by a goose there last spring, there's a lot of other places I've explored around there that produce too. I go to school near there so I've had the last 4 years to figure it out.

  3. I must say I've learned quite a bit since I've subscribed to your channel and it has helped me up my game over the last 3 years as a fisherman. Thank you for such great videos my friend. If you ever find yourself back in Louisiana I've got a shallow canal close to my house in Norco that is stocked with Rio Grand Cichlids, bullheads, and bass I can gladly get you on them. And I've got a nice catfish spot right over the levee from the canal as well

  4. Leo as far as keeping your hands warm try the "hot hands" body and hand super warmers. They're 10 for 5 dollars at Wal-Mart. The grabbers brand are ok but they don't last as long as the hot hands.

  5. Hi guys can someone explain to me if i should or shouldnt use wire leaders for freshwater trout fishing? If i should use them what strenght should they be and if i shouldnt use them then what strenght should the line be? i fish with spinners and jigs.
    tnx

  6. I love my Sharky II 1500. It's my favourite ultralight reel and I've caught many big fish with it. The drag needed a little bit of break-in, but is now smooth as butter.
