  1. this is one of the most fished fish here in the netherlands it is a deep water canal/river species not native to the uk and lost of pije anglers blame zander for pike doing bad but they are two very different species who hunt very different places the vampire fangs are used as: zander wil hunt if the weather air pressure temperature and oxygen level in the water is great otherwise they are kinda lazy hunters they hang around the bottom use their fangs to kill or injure multiple prey fish small roach mostly after doing this the eat(collect ) the dead prey we fish with a small single hook and no wire trace only if no pike is there pike lives allmost everywhere here in nl you could use thinner fluorocarbon or a 8strand tungsten trace and as fine line as allowed we dont fish commercial waters we have different rules check out some snoekbaars(pikeperch) vissen or fishing amsterdam you will enjoy i promise

  2. I have watched a few of your zander fishing vids guys, and all of them at bury hill, when are you going to stop fishing from a lake stocked with them, and get out on the rivers and canals, its a bit like fishing for goldfish out of a bowl!!
Zander isnt new fishing to UK, we have been doing it for years, but its like most carp anglers, if you can pull your car to the back of your peg, you will fish hahaha, lots of bigger fish in the real world bud, but you might get stung, so be careful.

  3. Nice vid., but you are doing a lot wrong when it comes to zander fishing.. floats/rods ar way to heavy, and I never use a steel tracer ( I fish .16 mm nylon or .10 braided mainline)  And about a 10-20 gram parabolic rod 2.7-3m in lenght. (and they have very nice handmade floats for zander fishing over here in NL, althoud they'd be hard to get over there. Zander is always quick on spitting out the bait so fishing as delicate as possible is most important.. If u want to catch more that is (my pb is 90 cm @ 16 pounds, didn't come from a put&take, just saying).
